Modern mosaic artist
I am a mosaic artwork specialist in High Wycombe, with over 20 years of experience. My fascination with Mosaic Art started off in 1997. From an afternoon’s craft session with 2 girlfriends, I turned into a business. In 2008, I went to Ravenna, Italy, to train with a famous Mosaic artist called Luciana Notturni. (see my Certificate). I listen intently to my students or the management of a school and the creative, innovative designer in me takes over. I challenge what is written in books and push the boundaries because I believe in myself as an artist.

Where ancient art meets modern life
Mosaics originated in Mesopotamia in the 3rd millennium BC. Throughout history, mosaic art has been an influential form of art found across various religious buildings, palaces and forts. At Modern Mosaics, I aim to preserve the art of making mosaics and pass it on to people and children who are interested in keeping the tradition going.
